Step 1
Membership Fees
All our websites include a membership system, that calculates dues, sends out recurring invoices, and collects payment. Users register using an existing social media account. There are no forms to complete, which nullifies bots and fake accounts. All new accounts are screened using AI. We reserve the right to remove members. Users control all their details, and can delete at will. There are no contracts, and users can leave at any time.

Step 2
Payment Processing
Our payment processor is Stripe. We hold 46 verified accounts, with over 100 methods of payment, including all major credit cards, Google Pay, Apple Pay and several others. We also use PayPal. While we can accept multiple currencies, we only use GPB in the 45 initiatives, and USD for The Art of Living Freely publication. Stripe handles any cancellations, refunds, and chargebacks. We use Stripe Radar to negate credit card fraud.

Step 3
Global VAT & GST
The Stripe Tax service calculates, collects and reports tax on global payments with a single integration. We know where to register, automatically collect the right amount of tax, and access the reports we need to file returns. Stripe Tax is optimized for tax calculation in 40+ countries and all US states. Stripe Tax supports country and VAT OSS registrations in Europe, and country/provincial registrations in Canada. Everything is automated.

Step 4
Deposit Wise Business
The remaining money, after VAT & GST, is withdrawn from Stripe, every 7 days. These 46 transactions are staggered and vary according to sales. At this point the 46 Stripe accounts are combined into 1 revenue channel. Stripe retains a buffer of 25% to offset any fraud and chargebacks. Our Wise Business bank account is held in the United Kingdom, and we keep the funds in GBP. We may hold other currencies, to exploit FOREX.

Step 5
Affiliate Commissions
We pay our affiliates from 5 – 50% commissions, depending on performance. The clicks, referrals, and commissions are tracked in each of the 46 websites, independently. The CSV files are exported, analyzed for fraudulent activity, and placed on hold for 30 days, to account for chargebacks. Thereafter the CSV files are integrated via API into the Wise Business account, for processing and payment. The entire process is fully automated.

Step 6
Royalty Payments
At this point, the remaining balance is calculated, and a 50% royalty becomes payable to Ubuntu Synergy Trust, the owner of all the intellectual property. This amount is calculated across all 46 websites, with a small margin of error, not exceeding 2%. The destination trust forms an integral part of our strategy. It’s the principle reason for everything we do, facilitating our philanthropic aspirations. Charity begins at the cash register.

Step 7
Business Expenses
While our support infrastructure, processes and servers are highly optimized, there are invariably costs involved. All the products and services we use are effective, efficient and economical. Every month we peel off the expense budget from Wise to Revolut. The latter allows for virtual credit cards, in multiple currencies. We use these virtual cards for all online payments. This avoids the need to cancel physical cards, if compromised.

Step 8
Wages & Salaries
ZaGenie Team is made up of Support Representatives, Moderators, Content Reviewers, Partner Managers, Team Leaders, Senior Directors, and traditional C-Suite. These people work for a fixed monthly fee, and are paid from the Wise Business account. We use a service called Remote that takes care of worldwide regulations, obligations and reporting. Every employee receives the gross amount, and they pay local taxes, as required.

Step 9
Development (5% per month.)
Every month we set aside this amount for research and development. While all our software systems and business processes are relatively mature, we live on the cutting edge of technology, and continually search for better ways to accomplish tasks. This fund is also used for on-going software maintenance, security patches, backup systems and server upgrades. If and when the fund gets too large, we move money to the Marketing Float.

Step 10
Marketing Float (10% per month.)
While the utilization of affiliate marketing negates the need to buy traditional advertising, there are promotional mechanisms we use from time to time. These include local events, educational seminars and networking socials. We also use this money for affiliate rewards, such as competition prizes and cruises. Another effective use for this marketing float, is purchasing branded merchandise, and sending items out as promotional gifts.

Step 11
Operational Fund (Remaining balance.)
What remains in the bank account, is used to further the interests of the company. This includes asset purchases such as buildings, vehicles, aircraft, and anything deemed necessary to help the company grow. This fund can also be used to settle the debts of worthy causes, at our discretion. This activity is over and above the amounts paid to the causes, that are generally included as affiliates in Step 5 above.

Step 12
General Accounting & Corporate Taxes
Taking all the steps above into consideration, the annual accounts are prepared and filed accordingly. We retain the services of a third party tax and accounting firm in the United Kingdom. Their objective is to make ZaGenie Ltd tax efficient, and ensure 100% compliance in every respect. There are no plans to move from private to public company, at this time. Should that change, we will retain the services of PWC when necessary.
